Students must first be admitted into a doctoral degree granting program in one of the graduate programs of the University of Pittsburgh prior to applying to the HVS graduate certificate program. Students must be in good academic standing (i.e., not in probation and must have successfully completed all the required courses and program milestones for their current year of studies) and demonstrate a strong interest in basic and translational hearing and vision research.
